31 Aug 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 810:00 AM - Debbie has appointment at Joran River Temple for washing and anointing 8:00 AM MST - 10:00 AM EST) - phone call appointment with Bob Berry, Rome, GA  4:30 PM - Debbie has an appointment to see Dr. Stock; it is her 6-week follow-up visit for her hip surgery  (He said she is doing excellent) Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready for the day.  We packed to go over to Pat and Anndalyn's. At 8 AM I talked to Robert, "Bob", Berry, an attorney in Rome, GA.  He is an old friend.  His wife's name is "Bambi", Barbara Morrison Berry, and the names of their 2 daughters,  Lowry Berry Harrington and Natalie Berry Murphy.  Bob is about 2 or 3 years younger than me and still practicing law.  He will take the case and asked I send Dan Guinn another request for financials, close my account, and deposit the money in my Wells Fargo checking account.  I did and forwarded Bob a copy.  ...

Timpanogos Temple sealing session Email letter to Bob Berry for phone meeting tomorrow at 10 AM MST  Debbie and I had prayer, showered, got ready, and drove to Mt.  29 Aug 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Ray Gammon, Attorney in Cedartown Note: Movie Tyson's Run Debbie and I want to watch when it is free on one of the carriers we pay for Debbie and I had prayer, Debbie and I calendared and planned out some things we want to do for the rest of the year and into January 2023.  I called and texted our visits to California we calendared.  I went to Legacy Center and exercised and talked to Ora.  Debbie wash and ironed clothes.  When I got home Jami had brought Tate and he had cut the grass.  Debbie gave him $60 for cutting and weeding the grass.  Debbie helped Tate put the grass cutting in the 55 gallon plastic bag I got out for him to put the grass cutting in.  I had emptied the wet and smoldering fly infested cutting that were not emptied by Lehi City pickup today.  I wash and cleaned our trash can and our neighbors'.  Michael had put our garbage and recycle cans out.  I brought th...

 27 Aug 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task 11:00 AM - Libby's bike race at Magic Mountian Debbie and I were up, had prayer, and ate breakfast.  All the family rode up to Magic Mountain to the high school bike race Lebby is in.  It is south of Twin Falls and Burley in the Hansen Area.  Tony took Libby and her bike up early this morning.  Randy Hobbs took Jodi and Cache drove, Clari, Shelby, Debbie, and me.  Libby placed 11th and Cache left about 40 minutes before us and started running back.  We picked him up and when we got home.  Debbie and I took the Outback and got it washed, filled with gas, and picked up some grapes and limes for the party later this evening.  Matthew called; I did not initiate the call.  This is the second time one of the children has called without me calling them first.   I had a good visit (talk) with him, getting caught up on Madeline, Bella, and Ava.  The girls are blowing up balloons, ...

26 Aug 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Detweiler Residence, 2672 East 4100 North, Twin Falls, ID  4:30 PM Dinner  6:00 PM Wedding Ceremony Cooper Traveller and Kenna Detweiler Debbie got up early with the family and went to the carol with Cooper to feed the cows and calves.  The family and friends who stayed here last night all got ready and went over go and rehearse the wedding program.  I slept in and about 9 AM had my personal prayer. Debbie went for a walk.  When she got back we had prayer together, ate breakfast, and showered.  At noon Debbie and I went to Jimmy John's and picked up sandwiches for the children who will be coming to the wedding later.  We all drove over to David and Lynda Detwellers.  David owns and operates a large farm on the west side of Twin Falls and south a short distance from the ridge of the canyon.  Kenna is their youngest daughter.  The family has held several of their daughter's weddings here....

21 Aug 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Matthew and Melodie McAlpin's 12 anniversary (We sent them a text) Debbie and I had prayer, showered, ate breakfast, and got ready for church.  Debbie was not feeling well so I went and picked Dan Lester.  I took him to church and pushed a large comfortable chair into the chapel for Dan.  I drove back to Max and Debbie's and picked Debbie up after locking the door.  After the sacrament was passed Sister Natalie Eaker, Rich's wife, spoke.  A quote and note from her and Rich, " Our children's first impression of Heavenly Father is how we love them."  After the sacrament meeting I took Brother Lester back to Big Springs Assisted Living.   Debbie.  I drove back to the Cedartown Branch and Debbie and I set with Charlie and Shirley Hibbert.  After Sunday School the branch had a pot luck dinner.  I helped clean and put the tables up.  We got back home by 2 PM.  I sent Matthew and M...

 20 Aug 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 19th anniversary (I sent a text wishing them a happy anniversary) Thomasene DuBose Brannon, age 73 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born on November 4, 1948, to the late Charles Wesley DuBose, Jr. and the late Mary Alice Davidson DuBose. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Thomas Brannon, and step-son, Chris Brannon.  Thomasene retired from the Haralson County School System after 32 years as a teacher of 4th and 5th graders at Buchanan Elementary School.  As well as teaching, working with her hands was also a passion, and she loved quilting, embroidering, and tole painting.                                                                        ...

 19 Aug 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Return to Cedartown, Georgia Debbie and I had prayer together.  Dan cooked steak, eggs, and potatoes for breakfast.  We packed and loaded the car.  We spent time with Ora and Dan before leaving and driving over to Susan and Brian's.  Brian is working from home.  Debbie and I took the angel food cake and bottle of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup with us.  Susan, Brian, Ally and Lele Ruth in her mother's arms, and Palmer came to the door.  With the cake and chocolate syrup in our hands, Debbie and I sang happy birthday to Palmer.  All the adults were surprised because today was not the day she was born.  We told them and Palmer, that every day is her birthday.  On the way back to Cedartown Trey Kelley, attorney and GA State Representative returned my phone call.  I told him about the opportunity or situation with Dan Guinn.  He told me collections is not his area of expertise....

17 Aug 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie and I had prayer together.  We went for a walk.  I went back home and Debbie continued her walk.  Dan and I went and played golf until I had to come back to have a zoom conference on the computer with Mirko and Ljubica.  Their daughter, Bojana, was helping a friend and could not join in our meeting.  I stopped today at one of Dan and Ora's neighbors, Dave Ketchup.  He was burned and in the hospital for a while.  The grass in his yard is almost as tall as a man.  I took his lawn mower and was from the front of his house and was getting ready to cut the grass when he came out.  He was very nice but firm, that he did not want me cutting his grass.  It is something he will do.  We had a good visit; he did not want me to go but stay and talk to him.  I would like to have stayed longer but I knew Debbie was getting our zoom meeting set up to visit with Mirko and Ljubica....

 13 Aug 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie went for a walk; when she got home we had prayer and I went for a walk.  Brett went to Rome and visited Floyd Chulio Nursing Home and Fifth Avenue Nursing Home.  I showered and cleaned up.  Debbie and Debbie went shopping and Max and I cooked oatmeal for breakfast with toast and juice.  I called Brett to come down and have dinner with us.  He came by and we visited but he is going to Watkinsville, GA just south of Athens, and spend the night with his older brother, Cameron "Cam" Hobbs, and his family.  Max, Debbie Kimball, Debbie McAlpin, and I drove down to Bremen, GA, and had dinner at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.  Max and Debbie bought dinner.  I tried to pay but they insisted on paying.  When we got home Max and I watched some of the Atlanta Braves baseball game and a Robin Hood movie before Debbie and I had prayer and went to bed.

 12 Aug 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie and I had prayer, showered, shaved, and ate breakfast.  Brett at at the motel and got here a little after 8 AM.  I left our rental car for Debbie and rode with Brett in his rental car.  Our first stop was at the Cason Road facility.  The power was on and the locks were working on the doors.  We found an entry door in the courtyard with an entrance button that did not require a code.  We inspected the building; nothing has changed, the roof still leaks, standing water on the floor, and floor tiles coming up.  The water has not been turned on; I suppose the pipes in the floor have not been repaired.  Neither has the gas has not been turned on.  We went out the back door in the kitchen which does not require a code to open to the outside.  Second, we drove to the Rockmart Cottages Nursing Home.  We met the administrator who came over from the Cedartown Cason Road facility wh...
