 28 Jul 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Take the key and tools I brought down from the cabin back to the cabin Monday and pick up the mail. Debbie and I had prayer together.  I worked on items for the meeting tomorrow at 2 PM with the attorney for wills and trust.  I sent the list to Michael and he is sending me items to include before seeing them to Justin Heideman, Attorney.  I will try and find out how much money is being put back by each family for missions and education for each of the grandchildren.  I went to the Legacy Center to exercise.  I talked to Alex.  Michael had picked her up at the airport earlier this morning.  Debbie and I studied scriptures, Job 1-19.  I talked to Beth, Matthew, Michael, and Brett about the grandchildren's education fund they have set up for each one.  Brett asked about going back to Georgia and seeing the Dade County Nursing home the first part of August.  I have plans to go back wit...

 27 Jul 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11:00 AM - Wells Fargo, Celina Smith about levy by CA (visit not necessary) Wells Fargo Active Cash Card invitation for 2% cash back reward for using their Credit Card but they charde a 3% foreign transaction fee when used outside the country.                                                                My Capital One Visa Credit Card pay 1.5% cash back and has no foreign transaction fees.  I have a credit limit of $30,000 but went over the limit when I was in Cancun.  They let the charges of about $3,000+ go through but would not raise my credit limit.                                                            ...

 24 Jul 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Alex Gourley's 18th Birthday, it would have been Jalna died on July 2n; if she had lived until today she would have been 91. (July 24th is not her actual birth date - she was born on July 14th.  Her birth mother was Ruth but she grew up thinking Ruth was her sister) I got a good night's sleep, had my personal prayer, and had prayer with Debbie before getting ready and going to church at 10:30 AM in the Lehi 7th Ward building.  After sacrament meeting, Debbie attended  Relief Society and I attended Priesthood Meeting.  At 1:30 PM we came home.  Jared and all the boys but Jack came over.  Later Pat, Anndalyn, Camdon, Ellie, Autrey, Braddock, and Ocie came by.  Debbie had a very nice roast beef, carrots, and potatoes, for dinner with a strawberry angel food shortcake for dessert.  I called and talked to Michael, Matthew, and Beth.  Rae Lynn did not answer, so I left a voice message on her ph...

 23 Jul 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  I slept well last night but it was a short night.  Alex knocked on the door at 8 AM and wanted to know if I would like to study scripture with her and Traven at 10 AM.  I went back to bed for 30 minutes, showered, shaved, and got dressed.  I packed; Debbie called and we had prayer.  Owen, Maggie, Madeline, and Bella went back to their rooms.  Beth brought Andrew over for him to stay with me while she took Maggie, Madeline, and Bella to get their hair done.  Alex ordered breakfast for us with room service.  I copied some of the notes I made from our meetings this week; the main one was yesterday.  Some of the items covered were: renovating or rebuilding the Sandmont/Dade County nursing home which would include purchasing a larger tract of land with water and sewer; 10-year GA Property Tax Covenant that renews January 1, 2024, and the 60 acres Ora and I own.  Ora wants the 60 acres ...

22 Jul 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Maggie, Madline, and Bella slept in my room last night.  I had my own bed and with the sleep sounds on the radio I got almost 8 hours of sleep.  I had breakfast with Michael, Matthew, Brett, Rae Lynn, Gavin, Ethan, Owen, and Brody.  Afterward, Michael and I went to the spa gym with Owen and Brody and let them use the weights and equipment.  Rae Lynn and Brett came in to watch the boys with the equipment.  Later Matthew, Michael, and I met and had a business meeting regarding Rockmart Nursing Home, Friendship - Gateway - 40+acres inside the city limits of Cleveland, and Cason Road Health Care facility and Dan Guinn.  After the meeting, we talked a little about mine and Debbie's wills, etc., and tabled it until all the others can be in on the meeting.  The children all went to the pool and game area except Ava who has been sick and running a fever for a couple of days.  Mathew stayed with her until I ...

 21 Jul 2022, Thursday 6:00 AM - Michael is getting Blake and Grace to the Cancun Airport.  When he got back we had breakfast together.  I met Matthew, Melodie, and the girl out front at  7:30 AM for the shuttle pick-up to Chichén Itzá is arguably the most famous Maya temple was almost an hour late picking us up., to Cenote hole in an inactive volcano filled with 100+ feet of water, and the quaint town of Valladolid.  Matthew, Melodie, Madeline. Bella, Ava, and I were the only ones to go on this tour because some had been before and it was 12 hours long.  The others went on a 3-hour excursion to a lake with a tower with platforms to jump or dive off, heights of 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 feet.  Everyone enjoyed the day but we were tired; I got about 5 hours of sleep last night and our excursion lasted for about 12 hours.  We were supposed to have a devotional and meeting but we were so late getting back and by the time we ate dinner the re...

 19 Jul 2022, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task Mine and Debbie's 8th wedding anniversary.  She packed a beautiful and meninful letter in my bag to open today.  She is taking Alex and Porter to lunch for porter's birthday.  Everyone played in the water park and in the arcade game rooms.  There is something here for all ages.  This is also a time resort.  Lots of money has gone into establishing and getting this to where it is now.  I know of 7 resorts in this group.  There are 3 in this area.  I spoke with a man who owns a timeshare.  He and his family of 4 are here.  He paid $80,000 and dues etc are $650 each year.  When he came down this year he paid another $3,500 for food, etc. 5:30 PM family take the shuttle over to Moon Place Nizuc Resort to the Brazillian Stake house for dinner and afterward about  7:30 PM,  Michael, Autumn, Alexandra, Travin, Gavin, Blake, Gracey, and Manwell each tell a story about an...

 18 Jul 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task Up at 4:00 AM, I got 6 hours and 14 minutes of sleep; 5 minutes of deep sleep; 4 hrs and 47 minutes of light sleep, and 1 hr and 22 minutes of rem sleep. I had my personal prayer, showered, shaved, and started packing. I had prayer with Debbie when she woke and filled her ice chest water circulator with ice.  We had breakfast, oatmeal, and toast, together.  I went down my check-off list of things I want to do before Jared picked me up at 6 PM.  17 Jul 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:30 AM - Church at Abbington Memory Center  I was up at 8 AM, had prayer with Debbie, I showered last night; fixed breakfast for Debbie and me; got dressed for church, and went to church first at Abbington Memory Center.  Afterward, I went to our ward, Lehi 2nd.  After Sunday School I came home and at about 4 PM Debbie and I had lunch/dinner.  At 8 PM Ryan, Stephanie, and the children stopped on their way home from Las Vegas.  Debbie made brownies as a treat for them.  When they left Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.  I got an email from Moon Palace shuttle service saying Autumn McAlpin will be arriving July 21st at 2:00 PM in Cancun and departing on July 23.  I contacted Autumn and she said that is incorrect; none of our group is arriving on July 21st.  I sent them an email telling the shuttle service the same thing.

16 Jul 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Max Kimball's 78th Birthday I was up about 6 AM, had prayer, and started calling 800-986-5632 at 7:00 AM for transportation Monday, July 18th, for the family to Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico.  Customer service did not get into their office until about 9 AM.  The direct Mexican line to the shuttle department did not work.  I was given the wrong number.  When customer service opened I called and they connected me with the shuttle phone switchboard.  I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes to speak with Alexandra who was very helpful.  I did not have Michael and Autumn's flight numbers for Viva Aerbus arriving and departing Cancun.  She was very patient while I emailed, texted, and tried to call Autumn.  She was not awake so I texted and called Michael.  He did not know the flight numbers and tried to call Autumn.  Before we got off the phone Autumn texted the information.  They have...
