 30 Dec 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Karlene and Joe L Higham's 41st wedding anniversary  I slept in this morning.  Debbie and Beth were up earlier.  I had prayer, showered, and shaved.  Beth went to exercise; Debbie and I had prayer.  When Beth got home she and Debbie went to get their nails done.  Matthew called and still had not got a commitment as to when the tires he is purchasing from Costco will be here at the store in Lehi.  He said Jimmy Morris had called and they had a long talk about getting everything on the table and rearranging them so it is fair to all parties.  He was driving with the family up to the ski resort the phone signal dropped.  I wrote in my journal and later had breakfast.  Later Beth went over to Torrey's and I took the Volvo to get new tires at Costco.  They called Matthew and told him the tires they ordered had arrived and are in their store.  Debbie picked me up and we bought so...

 29 Dec 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Jodi Hobbs Traveller's operation for breast cancer  4:30 PM - Costco, new tires on the Volvo for Matthew Debbie was up early and drove up. to St. Marks Hospital, 1200 E 3900 S, Millcreek, UT 84124 to feed and help care for Pam, Shirley Hobbs' daughter.  Her husband Rick has pneumonia and has just been diagnosed with Covid.  The children got up later and had breakfast.  They packed and all went skiing at Sundance.  Beth is coming back tonight.  Matthew, Melodie, and the girls all went to the cabin.  Vickie, Melodie's mother, rode with Beth and went straight to Sundance.  Matthew got to the cabin but could not get in the closet where their ski clothes are, because someone had locked the closet door.  I was going up to take a key but he called and said not to come.  He had taken the door off the hinges and was able to get in.  Jodi had breast surgery for cancer today.  ...

 28 Dec 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 9:00 AM, Debbie has an appointment to see her hip doctor I woke early this morning, had my personal prayer and wrote emails and texts, and sent them to Janie, Nancy, and Jimmy notifying everyone of my intention to exercise my first right of refusal to purchase Gateway, White County Nursing Home, in Cleveland, GA.  I tried to call Lynn Mitchell but she did not answer.  I called Elbert Angel and he said she is not in her office on Wednesday.  He said he talked to her last week and she told him she was sending the deeds to Ora and me to be signed and then she would get them recorded.  Debbie and I had prayer together before she left for her doctor's appointment regarding her hip surgery replacement he did.  I called and canceled the Amazon Kindle book order for those who had yet received the book, Stone Manager, The Untold Story of the First Christmas by Jeffery R.  27 Dec 2022, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task Ora McAlpin Truitt's 77th birthday 4:00 PM (about) Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, Ava, and Vickie arrive 6:15 PM - listen to a presentation broadcast 8:00 PM (about) Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew arrive I slept in, had prayer, showered, and used the towel warmer.  Debbie and I had prayer; she went to the UPS store to copy and mail package to the attorney for her mother's, Jalna's, estate.  Debbie and I sent Ora a happy birthday wish with a tag to other members of our family.  26 Dec 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Don Christian 435-731-0966 about keeping the driveway plowed out this year. Debbie and I had prayer, I talked to Beth; she and the children will be leaving CA tomorrow and be here in Lehi tomorrow afternoon.  Rae Lynn called and she may be coming up with the boys on Friday.  She does not know for sure.  I talked to Max Kimbll.  Ora returned my phone call from earlier.  She is not doing as well today as she was yesterday.  Tomorrow she will be 77 years old.  Jill Christian, Don's wife, said they are not snowplowing on our side of Timber Lakes.  Fuel is too high and the wear and tear on their equipment is more then Don want to do when they are booked us on their side of timber lakes.  I told her we are in need of help.  She said Don would be on our side helping a friend and he could take time while he is there and clear out the snow from our drive.  I gave her my credit card ...

 25 Dec 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Luke Olin Lively's 12th Birthday 10:30 AM - church services at Abbington Memory Center Debbie and I were up, had prayer, showered, and had prayer together.  Debbie made a nice breakfast.  We attended church at Abbington Memory Center.  President Peter J. Ehat came with other members of the Lehi Gateway Utah Stake and their families.  President Ehat conducted.  Some of the residents' families also came.  We had about 40 people in attendance today.  After church we drove over to Pat and Anndalyn's and took them a present.  The children were excited to show us what they got for Christmas.  Later we came home and picked up the food Debbie had made.  We drove over to George and Laura's and spent the rest of the day with them.  They had us gifts, a blanket, and a spa massage.  We had a nice Christmas dinner, watched a movie and played games.  Debbie had made desert we brough...

 24 Dec 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Get some Christmas stuffers Debbie and I slept in, had prayer, showered, shaved, and went shopping at Costco, Walmart, and Toy Store.  I got home and took medicine for my cold and Debbie made brunch.  I wrapped the Christmas stuffers for the children who will be coming this Christmas season.  We spent the afternoon putting up and decorating Christmas trees downstairs for when the children come. This evening Debbie and I watched a movie about two young women from Serbia who were swimmers in Seria who wanted to compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that became refugees.  It was about their struggle to get to Germany.  It showed them crossing the border into Serbia where Debbie and I served from 2015 to 2017.  Then into Hungary crossing the sea working with smugglers and all they went through.  We knew much of the things they experienced but there was much we did not know.  We ...

 23 Dec 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and later we had brunch.  I worked on the computer, talked to Ora, and also talked to an old friend, Mike Coultas.  I wrapped some stocking stuffers for Debbie for Christmas, and we got an email newsletter forwarded to us from the Willeys from Debbie Kimball.  At the end of the newsletter was a link to a Church video " The Christ Child: A Nativity Story | #LightTheWorld, One by One" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXWoKi5x3lw&t=1053s.  It was more in line with the book I finished reading, The Stone Manager, The Untold Story of Christmas.  But in making the video they followed the scriptures more than Dr. Chadwich.  Jesus looked to be about 2 years old when the wise men came, not two months.  Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.  We received a nice Christmas email from Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana Jelicic in Novi Sad, Serbia tonight.

 22 Dec 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Be at the temple at 10:30 AM 11:00 AM Endowment session 1:00 PM Initiatory session. 1:45 PM before I was able to start and only allowed to do 3 names 2:45 PM Sealing session scheduled: I was able to start at 2:15 PM and finished at 3:45 PM.  I was able to complete all sealings of children to parents I slept in, had prayer with Debbie, showered, shaved, and dressed.  I went to the Mt. Timpanogas Temple.  Debbie had planned to go with me but was sick and had diarrhea.   Brad Gale, PA called me back and sent a prescription for 3 or 4 more days of antibiotics to the Costco pharmacy in Lehi.  I talked to Ora today.  She told me about falling a couple of days ago and twisting her knee.  She has to use two walking canes to move.  Dan still has a cold but is improving.  The home health nurse came by to see Ora today.  I talked to Elain, she is still in Heber.  She has not left fo...

 21 Dec 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:00 AM appointment with Gary Preisser at Stonebriar Financial Debbie and I had prayer this morning; The 10 AM meeting with Gary was moved to I looked up the name of the name of Chulio Hills Nursing Home in Rome Ga. on Valley View Drive off Chulio Hills Road in Floyd County Tax records,  K16 122 name FLOYD COUNTY NURSING HOME INVESTMENTS LLC VALLEY VIEW DR LL 147 22/3 PB 21-157.  I called and talked to Barbara Worthy, our accountant about writing off the $105,000 this year Dan Guinn has not returned.  She said she could not tell us what to do but others she knows have not written it off.  I asked her if we could take rental income and set it aside to purchase land and rebuild the other two nursing home in Rome, Floyd County, and the one in Dade County, GA.  She said, being a profit corporation, she did not know of any way without first paying taxes on it.  I had to call Kendle Book Company ...

20 Dec 2022, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task Tony and Jodi Traveller's 26 wedding anniversary  Jodi has a biopsy on her lymph nodes  11:30 AM - Debbie's appointment at Stretch Lab I had prayer with Debbie, I had my personal prayer, and I sent an email follow-up to the one last night to Matthew, Melodie, and Michael.  " I thought more about this last night.  In the beginning, there was 46 acres.  Something happened and it was surveyed and we lost 4 acres so there was 42+ acres.  Now it appears to be only 30.24 acres. I did not know this land was in my name only.  I would never have cut Wayne out and Wayne would never have given his part away.  I have never claimed all this land on my annual income tax reports or financial statements to the bank.   I never saw a White County property tax notice.  The notices went to a PO Box in Flowery Branch, GA where Jimmy got them and paid the taxes.  Jimmy has only told me that the taxes...

 17 Dec 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task James Reynolds 8th Birthday pick up medicine from Costco Pharmacy get Christmas and Birthday gifts for Debbie I used the nebulizer and had a breathing treatment before going to bed.  I had a difficult time going to sleep last night.  I should have kept the antibiotics the doctor ordered.  I took a couple of Tylenol PM before going to sleep at about 1 AM.   I got up at about 8 AM.  Had prayer and called the pharmacy when they opened and got them to refill the prescription for Azithromycin 250 MG.  I got a text from Debbie that Pam, Rick's wife, had a hemorrhagic stroke and is in a holding pattern.  I cleaned the snow off the Land Rover, drove to Costco, and picked up the antibiotic, bought some cereal, and almond milk.  I came home and took two Azithromycin and the next 3 day I take one Aithromycin 250 MG daily.  I ate lunch about an hour later.  I talked to Debbie, she will be...

 16 Dec 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  If you have neither root or branch you are a log, a tree that has been cut down.  I do not want my family to be like logs in a logging camp but like trees in a family forest.  George and Laura Gourley's anniversary, Debbie and I watch Clara and Allison for a few days Talk to Michael and get him to help me with my computer.  Since the new Apple updates, I need help saving documents to the OneDrive and also finding documents to find and attach to send in an email.   Jalna's Lexus detailed for Jared Jared came over with Max, Jack, and Tylee.  Tylee took the Lexus I drove down from Shelly, ID last night.  Jared looked at the Georgia D.O.T. plat and deed showing limited access to the parkway and Hwy 129.  There are possibly 2 accesses off Hwy 129 in Parcel 23 (34.12 acres), and possibly one access off the parkway, Parcel 24, (6.12 acres). This recorded DOT plat does not add up to 42+ acre....

 15 Dec 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Cache Traveller graduates from BYU Idaho in Rexburg Debbie was up early and helped Karlene get some things done.  Later she called, and when she got home we had prayer.  I showered and got ready.  We drove up to Rexburg and attended Cache's graduation from BYU Idaho.  He received an AAS in Architectural Technology and a BS in Virtual Design and Construction.  Later we met Tony, Jody, Cache, Clari, Cooper, Shelby, Clari's mother and brother at the Texas Longhorn Restaurant in Ammon for dinner.  Tony, Cache's dad, bought the dinner.  Debbie and I came back to Karlene's.  We packed our Outback and Jalna's Lexus with our things, Christmas gifts, and 2 boxes of potatoes Reed brought over for us to take home.  I drove Jalna's Lexus and Debbie followed.  We got home at about 11:30 PM, unloaded the cars, unpacked, and had prayer before going to bed.

 8 Dec 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Clara Gourley's 15th Birthday Kylie Hobb's 17th Birthday I had personal prayer and later had prayer with Debbie.  I ate breakfast with Max and then drove to Food Land Grocery store in Blairsville, Georgia to see Rick Abercrombie.   He is back at work from staying with his wife after her surgery.  He is working the afternoon shift and closing the store at night.  I talked to his assistant who told me Rick would be in the store no later than 6:30 PM today because that is when he goes home.  When I arrived in Blairsville at 2:30 PM, I drove directly to the grocery store.  As I pulled into the parking lot Rick was coming out with an elderly lady pushing her loaded grocery cart.  The car was just a couple of feet in front of my car.  I tapped my horn and motioned for Rick to put the cart away and get in my car.  We talked until 4:30 PM; I went with Rick to deliver an order to an assisted...
