 31 Jan 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie was up early.  There were no more challenges with the children  after we went to bed.  Libbie was before us and went to basketball practice at 5:30 AM.  Debbie made french toast for breakfast.  She woke Carter and drove him to School at 7:30 AM.  At 8 AM Debbie woke Mckay and Drew.  McKay's carpool ride picked him up at 8:45 AM.  Kylie was sick with a sore throat and did not go to school until about noon.  Debbie and I took Drew to the St. George Children's Museum.  I went to Costco and filled the Van/SUV with gas, about 25 gallons, and bought a few groceries.  I  Jacob Tuimaualluga, immigration attorney's office, and talked to his secretary about Jelicics 305-309-0054.  I told her they just got the email yesterday that Jacob sent to me in December.  I told her to send any bills or expenses to us.  We got back before Carter came home at 2:30 PM.  ...

 30 Jan 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task I was up at 6:30 AM, had prayer, showered, got dressed, and had prayer with Debbie. 8:00 AM - Skype with Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana in Serbia.  I had the wrong email address for them and the email went to someone with almost the same name as theirs.  He has been emailing back as if he were Bojana.  I got it straight and while we were visiting on Skype I sent them the information from Jacob, the immigration attorney.  I waited to make sure they received it.  I told them I will contact the attorney's office tomorrow and have the bill of his services sent to me. Ryan and Debbie cooked breakfast. 12 Noon - Church Knolls Ward, Utah Little Valley Stake in St. George, Stephanie spoke in sacrament, and Mckay and Andrew spoke in primary.  Stephanie's parents, Randy and Kathy Hansen came today to hear Stephanie and the boys talk.  29 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task We waited all day, until 6 PM, for Debbie's food to arrive.  It was supposed to have been delivered yesterday.  This afternoon we were told it will be delivered tomorrow.  We have to be in St. George, UT to watch the grandchildren while Ryan and Stephanie go to Logan, UT. Debbie and I drove 4 hours and arrived at 10 PM.  The children were still up.   We have a Skype meeting with Mirko and Ljubica in the morning at 8 AM.

28 Jan 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task I was up early, showered, shaved, had personal prayer, and had prayer with Debbie before going to the Legacy Center to exercise.  I called and talked to Ora.  I talked to Elain last night. She was in New York with Blake and her family.  They are going to the Bahamas; Robyn and her family are joining them.   After exercising I drove to my physical therapy appointment at 9:00 AM.  I got home before 11:00 AM and met a plumber to see what it will cost to get gas to the firepit we are adding to the backyard.  I called Jacob, immigration attorney, in Lehi.  I had not heard from him regarding the text I sent yesterday.  I talked to his secretary.  Mirko and Ljubica have not contacted him.  

 27 Jan 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task I got up about 7 AM, had prayer, and went to the Legacy Center to exercise.  I called and talked to Ora, my sister, and her husband, Dan.  He is going back to the oral surgeon today for a follow-up visit.  I tried to call Mike Coultas but missed him.  He sent me a message that he went in Tuesday for bypass surgery.  He was. in the hospital all day.  When they cut him open and saw that two clogged arteries were so close together they could not do a bypass; they just closed him up and sent him home.  He said he a meeting with the doctor next week to find out if there are any other doctors who can give him some hope.  When I got home Debbie was up and talking to Jody.  When she got off the phone we had prayer together.  I made reservations for us on March 28th to spend the night at THE LODGE AT THE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE in Park City.

 26 Jan 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:00 AM - Debbie's hair appointment Contact Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission formerly theGulf States Mission and give names of Alison and  Jake Taylor as referrals - address, 511 Brington Trail, Florence, Mississippi, phone 601-519-3806 / I spoke with an Elder Burt, Sr. Couple, serving in the Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission (mission phone number 225-664-1178).  Elder Burt's phone number is 385-208-2276.  I asked for a report back from the missionaries who teach them. Debbie is working with the Knutsons in scheduling our Sundays at Abbington Memory Center.  There are some conflicts where we both may be out of town, but we will work it out. Send Elain's children and Ora's children a copy of the poem, “ A YOUNG MOTHER, WE WILL CALL HER (Elain/Ora) SET HER FOOT ON THE PATH OF LIFE.  Check how Dan is doing from his Oral Surgery and if he is ready for me to contact Michael about editing the videotapes of Ora, Elain, and me to put on the cloud for the grandchildren 4:00 PM - Debbie and I attend Draper Temple, Endowment session Rae Lynn called, Brody's baptism is scheduled for May 7th.  Luke's team won their basketball game in overtime against a team that had always beaten them his year. 24 Jan 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task FLIGHT VIEW FLIGHT DL 390 MON, 24 JAN 2022 - DEPARTURE  Delta Airlines  from ATL to SLC -  DEPART:   9:50 AM  ARRIVE SLC:  12:10 PM I was up at 4:30 AM EST, had my personal prayer, studied scriptures, packed, and ate breakfast.  Max got up and took me to the Atlanta Airport about 7 AM.  I checked in and went through security.  I arrived at my gate, F-4 about 2 hours before my flight DL-390 departs at 9:45 AM.  I landed in SLC about noon MST.  Debbie finally got in to get an X-ray and see the doctor so she can get an MRI.  I sent text messages to the children and Max that I landed safe.  Debbie picked me up at the SLC Airport. 7:00 PM - Alex's Philharmonic orchestra at Gardner Hall at Univ.  23 Jan 2022, Sunday 23 Jan 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task I woke about 4AM this morning and need to call Seeba Holmes later today and encourage her to choose the Lord, not Lucifer. Max and I had breakfast and checked out of the Hyatt.  We got on the road to Max and Debbie's apartment across from the Temple in Atlanta, GA  a little after 7 AM.  We switched off driving; we talked and told stories about our lives together and stories of our children and grandchildren.  We called and talked to family and friends.  I called and talked to Debbie; Max called and talked to his wife, Debbie.  I talked to Roy and Elain Bryant in Oxford, AL.  I called and talked to Frank Powell who is in a hospital in Rome, GA.   Max and I talked to Leroy and Glenda Glenn in Birmingham.  Max and Leroy were missionaries in the Gulf States Mission at the same time.  They have been friends ever since.  I got to know them through Max when the...

22 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Debbie and I had prayer together.  Later Max and I ate breakfast here at the Hyatt Hotel, visited, and then drove over to the chapel at 243 Hoy Road in Madison before noon.  Friends and family came by to pay their respects.  Max and I mingled with the group.  Dr. Irwin Cronin treated Max (Elder Kimball) when he came to the Gulf States Mission after being sent home sick from the Sweedish Mission and later being reassigned.  Dr. Cronin and Dr. Walker both took care of Elder Kimball to make sure he did not get sick again.  Dr. Walker is deceased and Dr. Cronin does not get out of his home unless it is an emergency or very important.  Irwin and his wife who is deceased were very close to Seeb and Peggy.  Irwin's daughter and her husband brought him.  She was you when Max was here as a missionary but she remembered Elder Kimball.  Irwin had a brother named Jerry that Max and I got to know. Debbie and I had prayer.  Jared brought Jack over for us to watch today.  He is working from home because of Covid.  His company is having an emergency meeting today at 10 AM.  Jack is full of energy and will not be still and quiet.  Jared and his family live in an apartment and he needs things to be quiet during his meeting; that is why he brought Jack over for us to watch.  Debbie showed him her plans for the backyard.  Jared had some good suggestions to clean up the plans and make it more simple. 16 Jan 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Sacrament and Sunday School, Lehi 7th Ward 1:00 PM - Lunch Michael came by with Blake and a young man about  Blake and Alex's age, named Drew Furgeson.  His dad and mom are Kelly and Mandy.  They lived in the duplex next to Michael and Autumn in the house/duplex we owned on Briar Ave. and Cherry Ln. in Provo a couple blocks from Brigham Young University's J. Ruben Clark Law School.  They named their daughter, Autumn.  Michael said they did not think they would ever see them again after they left BYU.  Now they are in the same ward in San Clemente.  I talked to them later when they were on the road near Cedar City, UT.  I talked to Matthew; I called and talked to Beth and Maggie; and I called and talked to Rae Lynn.  I talked to Max Kimball today about our plans later this week, flight, and him picking me up at the Birmingham Airport.  Our hotel in Jackson, Mississipp...

15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

14 Jan 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task I talked to Tanja and texted Dell/Thakla about their mother's, Peggy Holmes', funeral.  I talked to Max Kimball and we will be attending the funeral on Jan. 22 in Mississippi.  I bought a round-trip ticket from Salt Lake City to Birmingham.  Max will pick me up at the BHM Airport on Thursday around noon and drop me off Sunday on his way back home.

13 Jan 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Take donations in the back of Outback to Deseret Industries in American Fork, UT Debbie and I had prayer and read this morning.  I went to the Legacy Center and exercised; then to Deseret Industries and donated Christmas decorations etc. Debbie and I studied scriptures, this week's  Come Follow Me lesson in Geneses and Moses. I went to the Legacy Center and exercised.   We had prayer, and I messaged Debbie's back and legs before going to bed.  Debbie has an appointment for an MRI next Thursday at 7 AM. Dell Holmes texed me that her Mother, Peggy Holmes, has passed away and her funeral will be next Saturday, January 22nd at the Madison Ward Building; visitation 12 noon to 2 PM and the funeral from 2 to 3 PM.  The family wants Max and I to speak at the service.

 9 Jan 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:30 AM - Church at Abbington Memory Center, Lehi 18th Ward 11:40 AM - Priesthood meeting at Lehi 7th Ward I got an excellent night's sleep; Debbie called, we talked about celebrating her birthday, December 31st and mine, January 21st and going on a sleigh ride up to the Viking Yurt for a 6 course dinner. We had prayer together before starting our day.  The medicated pain patches are working for her mother and Debbie is coming home this afternoon.  I talked to Beth, Michael, Alex, and Blake today.  Debbie got home from Shelly, ID about 7 PM.  I helped her unpack the Outback.  She went through the mail and opened her Birthday presents, sweaters, she picked out but did not arrive in time for her birthday, December 31st.  I read some in the book, The Washington Hypothesis.   Prayer with Debbie and to bed.

 8 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task This morning I called and talked to Debbie at Jalna's, her mother's.  Debbie and Karlene have not decided on a lock pill dispenser for their mother.  I also talked to Matthew after brunch.  I encouraged him to have someone working for him to call and talk to each nursing home or user of his software after the first month.  Ask about the user of the software and their family; ask how the software has made their work easier and what they like best about software.  Make a call again in 3 months and again in 6 months.  After the first year, call again at least once a year.  Do not ask for referrals so there never think you have an alternative motive for calling them. 7 Jan 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call for time to have Christmas lights taken down and stored until next year and putting their contact information in the black box that is stored in the garage.  I pick up Debbie's thyroid medicine at Costco Pharmacy Work on getting form completed to get the tax assessor in Polk County to reassess the Cason Road Health Care Facility as a non-licensed long term care nursing home and send to Dan Guinn before sending back to Amanda Lindsey, Tax Commissioner.  I signed, scanned, and emailed to Tracy Dickerson, Forester Consultant, the Report of Timber Sale or Harvest with the McAlpin Family Trust IRS tax ID number 87-4226108.  I called and talked to him; his check for $2,014.13 has been mailed and will be there in 5 business days. 5 Jan 2021, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 4:30 PM Blake takes test to gets his driving licenses  I slept in, had prayer and joined the family.  We took two cars down to Heber.  Matthew, Michael, and I went to Wells Fargo at 9:30 AM and met with Abraham P., who I had an appointment.  We opened a checking account for McAlpin Family Trust.  I had the Tax ID number and a copy of the trust agreement.  Michael is the trustee and the successors to Michael in order are Matthew, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  We deposited the checks sent in October for the thinning of the pine trees on the farm.  Michael has the bill from Tracy Dickerson for the consulting work he did.  Melodie took her mother, Madeline, Bella, Ava, and Blake to Kneaders for breakfast before they closed their breakfast line at 10:30 AM.  Later they went shopping at the Thrift Store.  Michael, Matthew, and I went to Dairy King for brunch. 4 Jan 2022, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task "Ally" Alexandra Kimball Markey 30th Birthday (sent her a text happy birthday greeting from me and Debbie) Dan Guinn called.  He emailed me an EIN number for the McAlpin Family Trust so I can open a bank account to deposit the money from the thinning of the timber on the farm in Tallapoosa.  He used the 148 Cason Road, Cedartown address to resister the McAlpin Family Trust.  He has an insurance police for fire and causality on the Cason Road Health Care Building for $2,000,000.   I sent Matthew an email with my last will, health directive, power of attorney etc.  I set up with Debbie in August 2015 before we left for our mission in Adriatic North Mission. 10:00 PM - pick Michael and Blake up at the SLC Airport who is coming in on a Delta flight.  Blake drove the Land Rover where we are spending the night at the Timber Lakes' cabin in Heber.   Matthew and everyone was in bed.  Mic...
