Prioritized Daily Task

Debbie and I had prayer, showered, shaved, and ate breakfast.  Brett at at the motel and got here a little after 8 AM.  I left our rental car for Debbie and rode with Brett in his rental car.  Our first stop was at the Cason Road facility.  The power was on and the locks were working on the doors.  We found an entry door in the courtyard with an entrance button that did not require a code.  We inspected the building; nothing has changed, the roof still leaks, standing water on the floor, and floor tiles coming up.  The water has not been turned on; I suppose the pipes in the floor have not been repaired.  Neither has the gas has not been turned on.  We went out the back door in the kitchen which does not require a code to open to the outside.  Second, we drove to the Rockmart Cottages Nursing Home.  We met the administrator who came over from the Cedartown Cason Road facility when the patients were moved here.  She have us a tour.  Brad (Richard) Bilbo and corporate staff have their offices here but had left and all gone to Gateway in Cleveland, GA. to give Pam Wilson a farewell party.  She has worked there for almost 22 years.  Brett and I left and drove over to Cleveland, GA.  We just missed everyone but Pam gave us a tour of the 60 bed home.  I called Andy and he turned around with his wife, Jan.  They came back and we went to lunch at a Bar-O-Que restaurant in town.  Andy is going into the University of Birmingham Hospital for surgery on his neck and back next week.  We had a good visit and then went up to the White County Court House.  I got copies of deeds and leases of the realestate  I own interest in, Gateway Nursing Home and the 40+ acres in town.  From Cleveland we drove across the state to Trenton, Georgia in the N.W. corner of the state.  Trina Masssengale, the administrator, who used to be the director of nursing had gone home.  Dana Hart Culpepper, the director of Nursing who used to be the administrator, was here.  We had a good visit with her and she gave us a tour of the home.  We could not get to the bluff but went down the road to a neighbors, Dale Anderson, who retired with regional manager with Home Depot and took pictures of the valley below.  When we left we drove down to Rome, GA and visited the Floyd Chulio Hills Nursing Home.  We met the two registered nurses, John and Jeff.  The administrator had gone home.  Brett is coming back tomorrow during the day to better see the home.  Brett and I got back to Max and Debbie's.  Debbie and Sister Debbie Kimball spent the day shopping in Rome, Cedartown, and Cave Springs.  Brett and I watched the ending of the Atalanta Braves base ball game with Max.  Max invited Brett the spend the night here and stay in his son, Spencer's, room.  Brett had already made reservation at a local motel.  Debbie and I had prayer together and went to bed about 11:30 PM.  I talked to earlier today and he can not meet us tomorrow to see the financials on the nursing homes.  His son has a golf tournament in Alabama tomorrow but said he would send the financial in an email tomorrow evening.
