Prioritized Daily Task
Debbie is taking Clara Gourley to get her ears pierced
I woke at 7:20 after 8 hours of restful sleep, had my personal prayer and started my day. I worked on my meetings that are not arranged yet between me and Janie Morris Dunman and my meeting with Nancy Abercrombie, my partners' widows. Max is blowing off leaves from his driveway. Jimmy Morris called and told me his mother has to help take care of her sister, meet with doctors, and is having a elevator put in her home and can not meet with me this week. I told Jimmy I have not been able to talk to her in two or three months. I came back here to meet and talk with her and Nancy. It is imperative, very important, we get A&M Investments assets distributed NOW. I sent him the information I had put together from 2022 Cost Reports on Chulio Hills (Floyd) and Gateway Nursing Homes. I told him it is in the best interest of his mother to get Gateway in her name along with the 42 acres in Cleveland, White County. I sent him a copy of the data information I have on Chulio Hill (Floyd) Health Care and Gateway Nursing Home to get to his mother. The WiFi has gone out here at Max and Debbie's. Max used his leaf blower to clear the leaves off his drive. We stopped at Kroger and bought some groceries, some of which, were fruit, eggs, etc. we took to Frank Powell. Larry Bul, Frank's step-son-in-law came by. Larry was in an accident at work and lost two of his fingers on his right hand. There was a funeral going on at Plesant Hill Baptist Church. Later we learned it was. Dorthy Husley Senft's daughter. I want to school with Dorthy. She has passed away a year about 13 years ago, in 2009. Max and I stopped and visited with Frank Powell and gave him the Christmas food we brought that he can eat, cheese crackers, potato chips, eggs, apples, etc. We had a good visit and then drove up to Nora Husley's and Debra Husley Casey's. They were not home but at the funeral. Dorthy and Nora were sisters. I left Max in the car parked at Debra's and walked down to the William Alexander and Manah Matilda McAlpin and Old Indian Grave Yard. I took some pictures to show what the road in looks like and to see how the graveyard is clean, and grass mowed by Jodee Pike, who married Nora Husley's granddaughter. Max and I stopped and picked up some dinner for Debbie in Cedartown. When we got home Debbie had the table set for us to eat. Max and I ate the food they bought yesterday and we did not eat. We all talked and visited. Debbie sent thank you letters and Christmas cards, then got the WiFi working. Max and I watched some movies on TV. Debbie printed off copies of the information I sent to Jimmy to give to his mother, Janie Morris Dunman, about the Chulio Hill and Gateway Nursing Homes. I had prayer with Max and Debbie before having my personal prayer and Debbie, my wife, had prayer together when she got home from Costco. She took Ellie with her and Clara when they got their ears pierced today.
