Prioritized Daily Task

Pack for next two weeks - scissors cut nose hair - 

10:30 AM - Church in Wellsville with Debbie and the children. 

Debbie and I slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  We took Carter, Mckay, and Andrew to church, 8th Ward in the Wellsville Stake.  Kylie and Abby came behind us.  I shared my testimony.  Many testimonies were shared about friends and family leaving the church and these friends and family members trying to also pull them away.  In Matthew chapter 24, verse 4: "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you." Then in verse 24:  "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."  Paul wrote concernth the second coming of Jesus Christ in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" and in verse 4:  "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God   in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."  As an example 2,000+ years ago when Christ was teaching at Capernaum, He taught as recorded in John, chapter 6, verse 53:  "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." In verse 60:  "Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?"  I drew from my thoughts I on Tuesday, October 4th of this year.  "Christ had fed the people on other occasions.  Many could have come looking for a free meal.  On this day Christ did not feed them but told them unless they eat His flesh and drink His blood, they would have no part in Him.  One of the people who heard this knew Peter and he went to Peter and asked him what Christ meant?  This is a hard saying!  Peter told the man, I have know idea.  I only know he is the Savior, the Son of God.  This is the chief Apostle who would become head of the Church.  He did not know what it meant, "eat His flesh and drink His blood" he only knew it was true because he knew Chris was the Son of God.  Today we know that Christ was speaking of the embalms of the sacrament.  Some day the things people the people don't understand will be made known.  I just know not that President Russell M. Nelson is a true prophet of God, that Jesus Christ stands at the head of this church, and that God loves each one of us.                                                                 After the sacrament and testimony meeting, and in priesthood lesson I sat beside a Brother John Spence.  He served a mission in the south and was assigned to labor in Bremen, Georgia in the early 1970s.  He lived in my apartment as did another missionaries, Elder Hobson, who now lives in Boise, ID.  I stayed with his brother, Con Hobson, when I was living there helping Matthew selling Exit Realty franchises in Idaho.   John is good friends with the McKinneys and still stays in touch with Tommy and Pam. After church we came home and about 4 PM had prayer and broke our fast.  Alex has not got here with the mail from Heber and the Land Rover.  Debbie and I listened to some of General Conference, had prayer, and to to bed about 9 PM.
