"Meekness is evidence of your faith" President Henry B. Eyring, 1st speaker in Sunday afternoon session of General Conference, quoting from the Book of Mormon.
Ryan Olson, "Satan is loud and bostful; Christ is meek and speaks softly; He is the master of simplicity."
I slept well last night. I gave Debbie a 5 mg Melatonin tablet and she slept better than she has in some time. I let her sleep while I had my personal prayer, showered, shaved, and got dressed for General Conference today. I checked my blood sugar glucose and it was 88, a very good score. If it stays there I will have reason to believe the Mediform, vitamins, and nutrients I have been taking are working. Debbie showered and got ready for the day. We had prayer and listened to Tabernacle Choir and The Spoken Word before the morning session of the 192nd Semiannual General Conference. Afterward, Debbie started cooking dinner for later this afternoon. While dinner was cooking between sessions we watched a Church World Report before the afternoon session of conference started at 2:00 PM. Jared came over with the children during the afternoon session; Jami came a little later; Patrick came with his children. Anndalyn, his wife is in Tybee Island near Savanah, GA. George and Laura came with the girls, Clara and Allison; Samantha and Tyler came. Anndalyn's mother, Lyndan, came and brought chocolate muffins. Alex Gourley came with his girlfriend for a few minutes. Debbie gave them a couple of dinner plates to go before they left. Everyone visited, the children played, and all had fun. All of the adult children pitched in and helped clean up. Beth faced-timed and I got to see and talk to her, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew. I called Matthew, Rae Lynn, and Michael. Michael was the only one I got to talk to. He was in Georgia. He has a meeting with Dan Guinn in the morning and then he and a couple of the owners of a company he is consulting for are meeting with a marketing company in Augusta Georgia. Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.
