Prioritized Daily Task
Note: Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise. by John Clarke in a 1639 book of English and Latin proverbs. (contrast allegory) Early to rise, late to sleep, addiction holds me in its keep. Isaiah 5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
The children are all sleeping in. Debbie got up early and went for a walk. I had my personal prayer and studied some, Isiah chapters 3,4, and 5. Debbie cooked breakfast. Afterwards I brushed my teeth and read some in "At the Pulpit". Debbie and I took Camden, Autrey, Ocie, and Braddock to the movies and Ellie and Clara shopping. When the movie was over we came home. Debbie took Clara Gourley home. Debbie went by the house in Lehi and picked up a few things. Randy Hobbs came by at 5:40 PM and pick Autrey up for his football practice. The shrubs and plants the landscape contractor left setting in containers and burlap bag have not been planted. Whit temperatures approaching 100 degrees F. they will die if not watered. Debbie and Lyndan have been keeping them watered in the morning and afternoon. This evening both were busy so I watered them with the 200-foot watering hose. I was finishing with the last of the plants loaded in the flatbed utility trailer. The tailgate that serves as a ramp was broken and I stiped on the wire mesh going down and my foot and leg went through with me going forward hitting my head on the corner of a wooden container, scraping my chin and arm. I finished watering and put the hose out of the driveway before going inside. I cleaned it with alcohol and Debbie put some Neosporin on the places that had been bleeding. Later Debbie and I had family prayer with Lyndan, her son, Danlyn, his former wife, and all the children except Ellie who was showering. Debbie and I watched some of a movie before having prayer together and going to bed.
