Prioritized Daily Task

Tony Traveller's 52nd birthday (sent him a chain text wishing him a happy birthday)

Send Michael and Beth our flight schedule in Oct. to John Wayne Orange County Airport

6:15 PM - dinner and lecture at Thanksgiving Point, The Rose Room, 3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi

*Note: Parable of Job: Job suffered at the hands of Satan.  The Lord allowed it and He allows us to suffer maybe not as much as Job and certainly not as He did.  How we respond makes a big difference if we grow and become strong or weak, and blame God for the misfortune and suffering as many have.  Then Satan pulls them down and binds them with his chains.                     Isaiah 53:12 ......"He hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors, and he bares the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."  He could see us which are His seed.  I pray we can make it worth it to Him for that sacrifice and be children that grow up to be like Him, keeping His covenants and laws that brought us in connection with Him, to live in such a way that we can inherit, and have all that He wants to give us from His Father.

Up about 7 AM, had a good night's sleep, prayer with Debbie, and drove to the Legacy center to exercise.  I called and talked to Ora and later Beth.  Debbie and Laura went to visit grandma Shirley Hobbs in the assisted living center where she is living.  Shirley broke her arm and the bones are knitting back.  I studied scriptures; I made reservations for Debbie and I to travel next month to Orange County Airport and sent the schedule to Beth, Michael, and Autumn.  Rob Naylor, Ward Executive Secretary, made an appointment for me to see someone in the stake presidency to get my temple recommend signed this evening at 7:50 PM.  We got home, had prayer and to bed about 9:00 PM.
