Prioritized Daily Task

I slept in; Debbie and I had prayer; I had my personal prayer before starting our day.  Debbie went for a walk before it got very hot this morning.  Debbie and Karlene had a conference call with Gerald Searle, Jalna's accountant.  After the meeting, Debbie gave me a check for $8,300 to deposit in our Wells Fargo Tax account that Dan uses to pay our quarterly estimated taxes.  I went by the Subaru dealership and got a new battery for my key to crank the car.  I used Debbie's key to get here.  I went by Home Depot and returned the 3-in-one spray for the fruit trees and plants around the home.  Greg sprayed yesterday and did a good job.  I don't need to redo or repeat what Greg has already done.  I went by Costco and filled the Subaru with gas before going to the Legacy Center to exercise.  I go home and Debbie went to an appointment with Jeff  Tolley at Edward Jones financial service to take care of her grandchildren's educational trust accounts.  Debbie called and we took the table, chairs, poster sign, bowls, tongs, etc. over to Laura and George's for Kenna's wedding shower tomorrow.  Afterward, we went by Jon and Kari Traveller's, took pictures, and then to Lowe's and purchased flowers and plants to do some landscaping on their yard before they get home with Emily, their daughter, that has been in rehab in CO for the last several weeks and months.  We got home and Jared came over with Porter and Tate.  They finished cleaning out most of our garage with the tools etc. Jared had stored it here.  He put it in his trailer and parked it beside our house.  Debbie and I had prayer and went to bed.  I sent an email to Dan Guinn who is renting the Cason Road Health Care facility in Cedartown, GA.

Dan,

This is a follow-up to our phone conservation last week regarding our family business meeting in July.

1. May we get a copy of the property and liability insurance on Cason Road Facility with Michael and Matthew named as beneficiaries and their names mentioned as being covered on the liability policy?

2. What is the code to get in and out of the building?

3. What is the status on the roof and the plumbing?

4. What is the amount of rent paid and what is the balance owed according to your records?

5. I sent you a letter we received from the GA Dept. of Revenue informing us we owe $281.00 for the tax year ending Dec. 31, 2021, when we have a credit balance with them for that year.  I paid the IRS $184.80 when we had a credit balance with them for the year ending 2021.  I have not paid the GA Dept. of Revenue and have not heard from you or Barbara regarding the GA Dept. of Revenue.

6. As I mentioned to you on the phone Michael and I will be back in Georgia soon, probably this weekend or the first of next week.  I would like to get answers to the above questions before we arrive.

Best regards,

James L. McAlpin (Len)
