*Note: Job 28: 26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: 27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. 28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
I had a great night's sleep and feel really refreshed this morning, much like I used to feel when I woke up before taking those Covid vaccines. Debbie and I had prayer together. Debbie and I planted the one new rose bush Debbie got from the nursery to replace on of the two rose bushes I took out that had a virus to keep them from infecting the other roses. Jody called and talked to Debbie about Kenna's wedding reception. I drove over to Thrive Nursery and talked with Kristina, Cooper Traveller's fiancee. I showed her a leaf from one of the pear trees with black spots on it. She said it is mite eggs. I showed her what I am using and she said what I am spraying with will get rid of the mites. The mites will not kill the tree. I showed her a picture I took this morning of the Granny Smith Apple tree. She said she has one at her home and it looks the same. She said the tree will look better next year. I went to the Legacy Center and exercised and walked. I tried to call Ora, Elain, and Robyn, Elain's daughter. I called and talked to Max and asked about Debbie and I visiting with them for a week or so. We arrive on Aug. 8th. Max and Debbie were at Auburn Univ. were Anna, their granddaughter, is playing basketball. I got a text from Brett. Hobbs. He is flying into the Atlanta GA airport Wednesday, Aug 10th, and returning home Sunday, Aug 14th. Max Kimball called when he got home from Auburn, AL. Max told me about a medication, Paxlouvid, one of his friends who is a doctor at the temple suggested he take to counter Covid vaccine reactions. We had a lite dinner and worked on packing 2 quilts in 17 different plastic bags that Jalna made for her great-grandchildren on Debbie's side of the family and storing them in the middle bedroom closet downstairs. Debbie has plans to make 7 more so each of her grandchildren will have a set of baby blankets when their first child is born will have a set. Debbie plans for them to use them over and over when other children are born to her grandchildren. I read some in the book, At The pulpit, 185 years of discourses by Latter-day Saint Women. Jody, Tony, Shelby, and Libby Traveller came about 11 PM and Cooper got here about midnight. Earlier Debbie and I had prayer together.
