Prioritized Daily Task

Pay tithing and bills

Andrew Hobbs' 5th birthday (I sent him happy birthday text through Ryan and Stepanie)

Beth flies into Provo Airport and spends the night in Lehi with us

check with the office of Dr. Ryan Slater, Orthopedic MD, 3000 Triumph Blvd, MOUNTAIN POINT Lehi, UT 84043,    801-373-7350  about a charge of $225 to my CapitalOne Visa card yesterday, and also check with Humana Medicare Insurance.  I finally learned from Debbie it is for the hospital to schedule her surgery on July 7th.

Note:  I had been under the impression that Elder Legrand Richards was the first stake president of the Los Angeles Stake in 1923 but that is not correct;  "In the early 1930s, church president Heber J. Grant sent Richards to southern California with the plan to call him as stake president. However, the existing stake president called Richards as a bishop and convinced Grant to hold off on calling Richards as the stake president so local members would not feel that an outsider was being imposed on them as a leader. From 1931 to 1933, Richards presided over the church's Hollywood Stake."  I think I may have gotten the idea from the Biography of Henry S. (Smith) Tanner that I have.

I had prayer and picked up my vitamins I left them at Brad Gale PA's office when I was in earlier this week.  I came home and had breakfast and took an Ivermectin 0.3 mg pill.  I called and talked to Alex in Provo this morning; I called and talked to Ora and called Beth and she and Tucker are leaving to come up tomorrow.  They will stop in Las Vegas and see a magic show; the magician was on the TV Show America Got Talent.  Rae Lynn and Gavin may also come up and see the show.  I paid the Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance bill, $1,700, for 12 months today.  I paid tithing and a special extra donation for the IRS tax refund we received.  Colton came this afternoon with two of his men and checked the drip water system in the flowers, shrubs, gardens, and fruit trees around the house.  I went to Lowe's and bought some Sevin Dust and poison the insects that are eating the plants.  Lowe's gave me a rectangular piece of sod that was just enough to finish covering the part of the lawn that was left from the digging during the irrigation project.  I bought some groceries for the BOQ Monday.  I cooked fish for dinner tonight, read, had prayer, and later talked and had prayer with Debbie.   The nurse said Jalna, Debbie's mother, only has days left.
