3:00 PM - Stonebriar Fincanial

5 PM - Debbie and I take Elain to dinner for her 75th birthday (get a card)

I got up at 6:45 AM, had prayer, and worked on the computer.  Debbie is still sleeping; she was getting sick last night with a cold or Covid when she went to bed.  Later when she woke we had prayer together.  I went to a bakery on Main St. here in Lehi.  They did not have any Malasadas donuts.   I took this as a sign I should not purchase any.  I drove out to Thrise Nursery and showed Kristina the pictures I took of the Granny Smith Apple espalier tree.  She said all their Granny Smith Apple trees looked the same.  It's just the time of year.  There is nothing wrong with them.  I went by IFA Farm Store and talked to the man in charge of their plants.  He said pretty much the same thing; if they have no fungus or insect on them, it is normal for them to look the way they do. (I have included some pictures - I have heard that picture is worth a thousand words.  I talked to Elain after I left the eyeglass office where I ordered a pair of reading glasses and a pair of driving glasses.  Later Debbie took her prescription sunglasses to the eye clinic where I had been earlier and had them adjusted so they would stop sliding down on her nose.   I picked up a birthday card for Elain and we went to see her after our meeting with Gary and Shawn at Stonebriar Financial.  We stopped at our cabin 1673 South Ridgeline, lot 1234, in Timber Lakes.  I found a gate we used a few years ago to keep the babies from falling down the steps and to keep the dogs from going up or down the steps.  She needs it to control the movement of her mother in Shelly.  We found signs of mice in the cabin.  I bought mice poison and traps last year for this purpose but I could not find them.  I tried calling Michael and Matthew but got no answer.  I left them a message on their answering phone.  Debbie and I drove down the hill to Elain's, my sister's home.  We were very impressed with the work she has done with the retaining wall and deck.  We visited and took her to dinner at Back 40, north of Heber on Hwy 189.  We celebrated her 75th birthday which is actually not until June 11th.  They gave her dessert with a candle and lit it, and we took pictures.  Elain opened up and talked about everything including her leg and foot.  They are not causing her as much pain as her right knee but her left knee is also hurting.  She shared some of her pictures with I am including.  Like I have said before, a picture is worth 1,000 words.  (Note: See Elain on 7 June 2022, Tuesday) On the way home I stopped and got some groceries for Elain so she does not have to get out and drive.  She would not let me pay; she insisted I take her debit card.  She gave me her pin number.  She was OK afterward and not upset with me paying for her groceries.  We took her home and got her in the house (cabin) before driving back home to Lehi.  It was late but Debbie and I went through our absent ballet and decided on who we wanted to vote for.  It was after 1 AM before we had prayer and went to bed.

Note:  I see how Elain has gone down.  It started for her after she took the two Covid vaccines.  Her reactions to the vaccines are very similar to mine.  Loss of strength and energy and can not get back to where she was before the shots.  I feel the shots have taken more than 10 years off my life.     I don't know if this thought is true but if it is, to me it is far less offensive than abortion, the taking of a life before it has a chance to experience love, joy, happiness, and peace as well as pain and sorrow that comes with living a full, happy, and successful life.
