Prioritized Daily Task
Patrick Hobbs 40th Birthday
3:30 PM - Colton is coming out to work on the sprinklers
12 Noon - Dave Butterfield group coming to work on pavers (canceled coming out tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM)
8:00 AM appointment for endowment session at Mt. Timpanogos Temple
I was up at 5:30 AM, sent Patrick a happy birthday wish and got on a thread Debbie sent at 5:42 AM making a list of 40 things we like about Patrick. I added to the list. I called Debbie and we had prayer. Her mother was still sleeping. She sent me a list of people she would like for me to put on the temple prayer roll this morning. She asked me to see if can get the pavers and backyard ready for her party here at the house for 20 sisters on June 24th. I showered and got ready. I arrived at the temple early and had time to put names on the prayer roll that are sick or otherwise afflicted. I have 5 names to do initiatory work for but there was no space available without having to wait. I took the letter/ballot I filled out last night after talking to Matthew to the UPS store and mailed it to arrive Thursday. I came home and made a meal, fruit and vegetable smoothie, and granola with Acai and toast. I talked to Ora this morning. She is getting stronger and is able to ride her stationary bike.
Dave is coming out tomorrow morning, not today. I texted him and he said he would complete the job before he starts on something else. Colton came out and fixed the drip irrigation in the garden. He set the timer to run longer and Sexton, his helper, came over and. finished adjusting the sprinkler heads so they water the lawn and not the house while I introduced Michael Scicluna, my neighbor from Austria who he and his dad helped me move the paver from the street to the patio in the back yard. Colton is the 4th plumber to try and get his water back on, to his and Caroline's home. Part of the tree stump had to be cut out so the main water line about 4 feet down could be reached. Colton, Sexton, Michael, and I worked getting enough of the stump out so there was room enough for a man to get in and dig. By the time we got to the water line and found the break, all the plumbing supply stores were closed.
I sent Destin a text follow-up from yesterday asking him to take us off his schedule to do repair work on our sprinklers.
I talked to Ora and Dan. I asked Dan to pay $1,000 estimated taxes for this quarter for Idaho.
I paid Colton $300 for work on sprinkler and drip system. He and Sexton got Michael and Caroline's water to their house back on. They will come back later and replace their lawn sprinkler system. They will come back and repair and replace our entire drip system, front, side, and back where the flowers, shrubs, fruit trees and vines, and garden are. He gave me a price of $400. This will change the amount of water gallon per minute to a gallon per hour drip system.
I read, had prayer with Debbie, and talked to Michael about Cancun trip in July.
