Prioritized Daily Task

Call Dan Guinn and maybe Barbar Worthy, accountant about 2021 taxes

Take garbage and recycle containers to the street for the city to pickup

Check on sprinkler lines before construction work begins

Contractors start work in the backyard this morning.

I was up at 5:30 AM, had prayer and called Dan Guinn.  It was a little before 8 AM EST when I called.  Dan answered the phone and he caught me up on all that is going on.  He and his partner, Clark, who had been working at the US Post Office bought Edward's Dry Cleaners in Cedartown.  Clark is going to run it.  Dan said the roofer is supposed to start on the roof at Cason Road Health Care this Wednesday.  He said he has a plumber who is going to repair the water line into the hot water tank.  He has residents ready to check in now.  He said Building Wealth's currency exchange did well last year but there is no tax consequences until I take money out.  He said he would not put any of the Cason Road rental income on my personal taxes for 2021.  I took the garbage and recycle containers to the street to be picked up by the city of Lehi this morning.  I moved our cars down the street and away from our home so the contractors can get to the backyard this afternoon.  I went to Home Depot and picked up 160 feet of 1inch PVC pipe with 16 end caps and adaptors and connectors to cut off two sprinkler heads and run the plastic pipe out 5 feet from the construction and grading work.  Debbie picked Jack up at 11 AM from pre-school and brought him home.

Dan got here first and then 4 workers came a little after 1 PM and started taking out the sod in the backyard.  When they got a 3-foot strip of sod removed from the area I want to set out the two remaining fruit trees Debbie and I bought two weeks ago.  Jami finished her hygienist exam to work at a dentist's office, and pick Jack up.

The power went off and we had to get the flashlights out.  Jack started crying and wanting his mother.  Debbie got him to sleep on the couch watching a movie on her computer without the internet that is off.  We had prayer together and she slept with Jack on the couch.

Ryan face-timed us from St. George.  They are having a blizzard in Logan.  I hope our fruit trees we just planted don't freeze.

We lit 3 of the Immanuel Wreath candles and Debbie read the story associated with the 3 characteristics of Christ.  To help us remember to be looking for people who are in need and look for ways to serve them she tied a string around our wrists in a don't forget knot.
