7:00 PM - Long Peak Jazz Festival, Alex is performing with the trombone
Debbie and I had prayer together. I went to the I.F.A. farm store and picked up 9, 5"X8' treated posts for the backyard. I went to Home Depot and picked up wire and parts for the fencing support for the fruit trees and grapevines. I came home and Debbie and I had brunch. I carried the 9 posts to the backyard near the gate to the fence that opens into the area where we are planning to put the fire pit and plant the fruit trees. I listened to some of Exodus chapters 1-6 with Jared Halverson's Come Follow Me podcast. Debbie and I attended a Jazz Concert festival at Lone Peak High School where Alex Gourley performed on the trombone. There are hundreds of high school children in the different bands in Sound House from all over Utah, mostly from around Salt Lake. They use the Long Peak auditorium. The price of a ticket was $15 and I would have expected to have paid $150 for a ticket. The youth were exceptional but the guest performers were icons in the music industry. I think it was the first time all of them were on stage performing together. It was midnight before Debbie and I got home, had prayer, and got to bed.
